Day 8: The Great Alienation
Today's passage talks about foreign workers. What stirs up in my thoughts is the fact that these foreign workers, like us, are equally loved by God. We should not treat them differently, but treat them like how we would treat our family & friends. Little things we do, like saying 'thank you,' can brighten their day. Try it out if you have a helper at home; try it to the foreign cleaners you met. You can make their day by appreciating them.Even when I was reading today's passage, I was reminded of our church's potential move to Golden Mile Complex--how we would be able to reach out to the Thais & meeting their spiritual needs, perhaps even other needs.
Father I pray for sensitivity for Your people, that we will obey & follow what You want us to do. Let us be Your agents, which Your love will spread through us to touch lives for You. Have Your way, Lord. Amen.
