Deciphering Psalm 23: part 2
I was doing my QT when the material opened my eyes to see God's all-encompassing love & care for me when He gave me this chapter for this season:1 The LORD is my shepherd (Jehovah Rohe--the Lord, the Good Shepherd), I shall not be in want (Jehovah Jireh--the Lord who provides).
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters (Jehovah Shalom--the Lord, who is peace),
3 he restores my soul (Jehovah Rophe--the Lord who heals). He guides me in paths of righteousness (Jehovah Tsidkenu--the Lord, our Righteousness) for his name's sake.
4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me (Jehovah Shammah--the Lord who is always there); your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies (Jehovah Nissi--the Lord, our Banner). You anoint my head with oil (Jehovah Qadesh--the Lord who santifies); my cup overflows.
6 Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
Father I want to remember Your all-encompassing goodness. Things may seem out of my control but they are definitely in Your control. You are the Lord, in whom, I can trust. I love You, Daddy God!

Deciphering Psalm 23: part 1
I thank God that during prayer meeting last night, we were asked to jot down our needs, focus & prayers in 4 areas of our lives & attaching to these 4 areas is what is God saying & doing.What came to me when I sought God that this is a season where I'm seeking direction, & my answer is in Psalm 23. I read this chapter verse by verse, & what came to me was this:
- God is my Guide, who provides my every need
- He calms, encourages & strengthens me
- He never leaves; He is faithful
- His is full of loving grace & kindness
- He will pour His blessings & it will overflow
- This will follow me wherever I go; I'll be God's living testimony
This is the first part as I intend to look into the Bible to find out more. May God just reveal His awesome assurance.
Praise God!

Verse of the season: Psalm 23
1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
4 Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
