Love builds families
Another purpose of marriage is, it builds a family unit where a couple unites, bears children, and lives a life of Godly testimony especially for the children to pass on to the next generation. I would call this Godly testimony an Inheritance of the family.Today's key verse points us to Genesis 1:28: "Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."
This is what God has intended for most of us. If we have been blessed to have a spouse, are we fulfilling God's calling if we have been blessed to multiply? Are we passing down the Inheritance to the next generation?
