Love is life's motivator

This is the title to Day 2's reading, and the key verse from 2 Corinthains 5:14 "For the love of Christ compels..."

While reading today's passage, one sentence which caught my attention goes like this: "When love invades your heart, you are empowered to endure deeper pain, willingly pay a greater cost, run risks to your reputation for the sake of another." When you have really loved, you will truly understand this sentence. Thank God for His love and for letting me found my better half, for it is at home where the exemplification of love begins.

Today's passage encourages us to replace "love" with our name in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 "Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." Doing that makes us go "woah!". It is really scary and too bombastic for us. But all things are possible if God and us are willing. We are thankful for that and hope that one day, when we read the passage in the same manner again, everyone will not hesitate their Amen!
