If tomorrow never comes...
I received a shocking news this morning. My cousin, 26 years, went home with the Lord due to an asthmatic attack. It was too sudden; hardly anyone can accept the fact. But I was so glad to hear that, although he doesn't go to church, he read the bible everyday. This incident caused me to want to live each day as my last. And I asked myself, if tomorrow never comes, what do I want to leave behind? What do I want my family, relatives & friends to do for me? How do I want them to feel?
If tomorrow never comes:
- I want the most recent verse to be on my obituary, i.e. Psalm 23
- I want my wake to be a party, & not a wake. I want praise & worship music, lots of food & drinks, & lots of fun!
- I want my ashes to be poured into some ground/grass patch
- I want each 20% of my inheritance to go to my daddy, mummy, church, & 10% each to go to my 3 sisters & my party
- I want my loved ones to be happy
Hmm, I think that's about it... Will update once I thought of some new items.
But seriously, life is really short. I'll learn to cherish all I have.
