Review on Modern Levites Conference 2007 I
Today marks the last day of the Modern Levites Conference 2007--Worship Warriors. God spoke to me so much. Aas there are things not going o right this week, God used every single opportunity to speak to me. I want to thank God I've been ministered, so much so much!!! Next, thanks FCBC for organising it; thanks Vivien Hibbert & the Paradise Band for being such great worship ministers!
Lots of thing I've learnt I want to write it here & share with you all. I'll separate it into a few parts, otherwise it will be an extremely long entry. :)
1. What is True Worship? by Pastor Melvin Mak
- Jn 4:21-24
- Spirit: Discovering who God is--He is a compassionate Friend --> worship
- Truth: Doing what God wants--He is a consuming Fire --> obedience
2. Favour of God by Vivien Hibbert
- Ps 102:13 -- the time of the favour of God
- Zion: thr international capital; the place of God's presence & hence, we are Zion--God's dwelling place
- 7 people in the Bible who have God's favour in their lives
- Noah: Supernatural dreams & visions (Gen 6:8-9); God revealed His secrets to those who fear (worship & obey) Him (Ps 25:14), the righteous & the prophets (Dan 2:19)
- Joseph: Dreamer & interpreter of dreams (prophetic anointing); successful, prosperous, authority, great measure of the Spirit, wisdom & knowledge (Gen 39:1-6); grace, standards & integrity
- Moses: Friend of God; character of God revealed; God's glory seen (Jn 17:24)
- Job: God's favour & visitation preserved his spirit & he remembered it(Job10:12), grace of God assured; 3 daughters: Jemimah--beauty of the dawn, Kaziah--smell, fragrance, Karen-happuch--flame in the eye
- Mary: Supernatural birth-->physical, spiritual, ministries; charisma (grace of God); a time of defying the laws of nature in the last days
- The Believers: Outpouring of the Holy Spirit--> favour with all people (Acts 2:47); 7 greats (favoured): power, grace, fear of the Lord, wonders, persecution, joy, earthquake
- David: Levites, worshippers; made a dwelling place for God with no veil; prophesy
