Review on Modern Levites Conference II
I shall continue with sharing the sermons preached during the conference. Many of us go through tough issues in our lives. Sometimes it never stop ceasing & you wish you could just scream out to God to make sure that He hears you. - Ex 17:8-14 & Jos 8:18-26 --> 2 situations/generations of battle
- A battle to do the things of God & in all things relating to Him
- Great power & great depth in going through battles
- Are you ready to find God in the battles of your life?
- God uses the same method to conquer for 2 different generations
- Doing things out of outward declaration; a sign of trusting God; a statement of faith
- Moses experienced God on mountain top, but Joshua found God in the battlefield --> where he learnt to be strong & courageous & conquer the battles in his life
- (a) Sustenance
- -- Holding the javelin right until the end
- -- How many people died when Moses was too tired!
- -- In the heat of all the problem, do we give up?
- -- We have to play our part to see the winning battle, combine with God's power

- --Ps 144:1 --> God wull train us for the battle! Battle after battle!
- (b) Stamina
- -- Joshua remained unmoved (trained)
- --Moses changed his posture
- --In the heat of battle, we changed our posture; we moved from faith to carnality!
- --2 Tim 4:3-5 --> v5: keep your head in all situations
- --Stand strong in trusting God!
- When you recognise the battles in your life --> motivation will keep going through until you find God & win the battle!
