Spiritual Intimacy-->Spiritual Delivery-->Spiritual Task!
Moving from the stage of desiring to have spiritual intimacy with God & spiritual delivery from all the negativity I was facing by God, God gave me a spiritual task when He revealed to me last night during my one hour time with Him.
I was requesting God to show me a book & a chapter so that He could speak to me through it. He showed me Jeremiah, followed by the number, 1, which then I cannot be sure is it 1 or 11. So I decided to read both chapters. To my amazement, what I found similar in these chapters is the call to 'go as God has commanded'.
What really spoke to me are these verses:
- 1:5- Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart
- 1:7- You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I commanded you
- 1:8- Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you
- 1:17- Get yourself ready! Stand up and say to them whatever I command you. Do not be terrified by them, or I will terrify you before them
- 11:4- Obey me and do everything I commanded you, and you will be my people and I will be your God
These are what God has spoken to me. Indeed, He knows me inside out. He knows that I'm afraid to spread His message because I don't have the courage but yet He told me to obey His commands no matter what. Isn't it amazing? Next, I'm going to seek God with regards to how to go about doing God's commands. This spiritual task is not going to be easy but God is with me. I'm going to plan carefully and take action.
