Spiritual Intimacy

SPIRITUAL INTIMACY: That's what I want to cultivate. Recently, so much school stuff- Projects, reports, blah blah blah, I actually didn't spend time reading the Bible except during Morning Devotion & Quiet Time.
I was hearing Hope 107 FM (http://hope107.com) the other day & the sermon was on spiritual intimacy. By being intimate with God & His Words, we can reap fruitfulness (both fruit of the Spirit & fruit of the ministry), receive answered prayers (God speaks through His Word- the Bible), & receive the love of God (through the Bible, you'll read about it).
Also for this month, my Quiet Time source (Everyday With Jesus) mentions about 'roots that goes down deep'; tapping on deep waters & not shallow ones. It also mentioned about feeding on the Scripture, to be a Verbivore-- word-eating beings, to root ourselves deep in God.
Hence, reading the Bible is such as important task. I really thank God for showing me this through two sources. I pray that you'd pray for me, that I'd be able to read the Bible everyday other than the two time slots with I do daily. May God bless you with your walk with Him. :)
