Short, yet amazing facts from the Bible
I was tuning on to Hope 107 FM this morning & it was Amazing Facts then. It was really amazing to hear from the preacher (I think is me not knowing the Bible well enough) that:
- we, as children of God, are the chosen ones. It's a privilege to be a child of God as there are many people out there who don't know and don't accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour.
- we, the children of God, are chosen before the foundations of the world. Isn't it amazing & of such great privilege? Salvation is worked out even before the world was formed & before we were born.
- God's purpose of choosing us is to be holy & blameless. Holy, meaning--to be in God's image, and blameless--without sin, spotless. This can be attained by confessing our sins.
These are taken from the book of Ecclesiastes. I feel so honoured & loved. Indeed, we are all children of the King of kings; princes & princesses of the Kingdom of heaven. Thank You Lord, for showing me that Your love never fails, & in fact, Your love is so great that You've planned everything for us, even our creation, before you made the earth... I love You Lord!!!!
