Amazed by the Amazing Grace

Leading worship is never an easy task. Thank God my church is small, so the pressure isn't that much. Yet, I faced pressure when I have to lead worship, especially when people don't understand why I introduce a new song.

Anyway, I'm not here to blame anybody but give glory to God. God affirmed that my choice is His choice when I was doing my Quiet Time. I was reading on John 1:1-14 & what struck me is God spoke as I was reading, especially at verse 12:

"But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name" (Amplified Bible)

This is the verse! The verse that relays the message of the song I'm introducing. As I was rejoicing, God spoke again, & this time He revealed the praise songs I chose & how it links to His saving acts, & how it gives glory to the risen King!

I'm really comforted... So amazed; felt so loved by God. I give all the praise to God for sustaining me through in my life & whenever I lead worship. I know He is always with me & I will cling onto Him forever...

I believe the QT materials are going to continue to amaze me. This is a new material & it only started yesterday. I will continue to be amazed for the coming 2 months.
