Makes me think...
"We seem to have developed a consumer attitude to relationships. The attitude is: get rid of that pastor and bring a better one; change congregations--the next one might be more rewarding to work with; say goodbye to that troublesome wife or husband and look for another one. Jesus stayed with bungling instruments, and transformed those instruments so that they, in turn, went out and changed the world. And He can give us the grace He drew upon to do the same. It might help us to remember that Christ is patient with us, so we also should be patient with others."
