Conquered, loved & served

Three pointers mentioned by Selwyn Hughes (see highlighted) in yesterday's Everyday With Jesus:

1. "To conquer, we must be conquered" -- allowing God to take control & charge of our lives in order to have the power of God in us to conquer all difficulties in life
2. "To love, we must first be loved" -- allowing the love of God to flow in us so that we can out pour God's love into others
3. "To serve, we must be first be served" -- someone has to be the example setter so we can learn & imitate from, & I believe our very example is Jesus Christ.

These points spoke to me a lot & I pray that it will be applied in my life. ;)
