Be Secure
I was doing my morning quiet time a while ago & thought that today's message is so relevant for us at any point of time. We know that every time we encounter certain difficulty, we'd ask "why, why it must happen to me?" or so on. Some even went to the extent of making the wrong decisions or even curse God (I did that before), But through the years, God has shown favour & guided me so much. Today's message in Joyce Meyer's 'Starting Your Day Right' mentioned that "trials & testing do not come to cause us to lose stability. They are opportunities to prove the strength of God. We don't have to waver in our confidence. Nothing will keep us from making progress today (& everyday) because God is our strength."
The psalmist said in Psalm 18:1-2, "I love You fervently & devotedly, O Lord, my Strength. The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress, & my Deliverer; my God my keen & firm Strenght in Whom I will trust & take refuge, my Shield, & the Horn of my salvation, my High Tower."
On 9:30 am, Cheryl lays it all at the feet of Jesus.
